Upon reaching the COG base, the higher-ups had immediately declared the preservation of the Locust prisoners their number one priority, and had rushed them to the integration rooms. While Rocam, Syglar, Vyrnnus, and Actus (now with a bandage on his leg over the bullet wound) waiting outside, heavily guarded, Lantar was in an interrogation room with a COG Lieutenant. They sat opposite each other, Lantar's hands tied, with other soldiers in the corners, waiting for a reason to shoot him.

"Okay, Delta, be on the lookout," said Marcus Fenix to his squad as they moved through the woods that was the location of their temporary base. "Intel says there's Locust in the surrounding areas. The Theron Guard walked slowly through a creek, holding its torque bow in its hands loosely while scanning the area around it. Behind it, a group of three Locust Drones, two Grenadiers, and one Sniper followed. The drones and grenadiers simply looked ahead, following the Theron closely, while the sniper glanced around in a similar manner to the Theron.
