Gears of War: Rebellion Part 3Upon reaching the COG base, the higher-ups had immediately declared the preservation of the Locust prisoners their number one priority, and had rushed them to the integration rooms. While Rocam, Syglar, Vyrnnus, and Actus (now with a bandage on his leg over the bullet wound) waiting outside, heavily guarded, Lantar was in an interrogation room with a COG Lieutenant. They sat opposite each other, Lantar's hands tied, with other soldiers in the corners, waiting for a reason to shoot him."How many Locust soldiers are in the woods around us?" asked the lieutenant."I do not know," replied Lantar."Fine then, where's the Queen?" he asked."I do not know," replied Lantar again. The lieutenant was clearly getting agitated."How many other Locust squads are there like you? That turned against the queen?" he asked slowly, attempting to maintain his composition."None," replied Lantar simply. At that, the lieutenant stood, drew his pistol, and pointed it at Lantar's head."I know you're lying,"
Gears of War: Rebellion Part 2"Okay, Delta, be on the lookout," said Marcus Fenix to his squad as they moved through the woods that was the location of their temporary base. "Intel says there's Locust in the surrounding areas. Stay tight and alert. If you spot an enemy, do not engage without my word. This is a patrol, not search and destroy.""Locust, you say? Really? Locust in the woods? Who would have guessed?" said Baird in his usual sarcastic tone. "C'mon, Marcus, why are we even out here doing this? And I know you figure you know better than Command what we should be doing, but they don't agree. So shut your mouth and move." For a few minutes, Marcus, Dom, Baird and Cole moved through the woods silently. Then, in the distance, gunfire could be heard."What the hell?" exclaimed Baird. "Who's that? There are no other s

Behind it, a group of three Locust Drones, two Grenadiers, and one Sniper followed. The drones and grenadiers simply looked ahead, following the Theron closely, while the sniper glanced around in a similar manner to the Theron.Wise, thought the Theron. The sniper had been trained to be wary of its surroundings and to always be on the lookout for targets and threats. While not as well trained in general combat, close combat, or leadership as the Theron, it was a master marksman, and the best disciplined grub in the Theron's squad. The squad in question, however, was not like other Locust forces. Their armor and weapons had had the Locust insignia removed, replaced instead with a Locust glyph, standing for the word "freedom". The Theron allowed its thoughts to wander from surveying the area to the recent events in the war between humanity and the Locust. Only se
